Haunted cities? There are just certain cities that we are not that surprised to hear claims of frequent sightings of our paranormal friends making appearances. I mean, I live within 35 minutes of Gettysburg, PA where 50,000 men (and 1 woman — Jennie Wade) died in a short 3 day period. Am I really that surprised that people experience seeing ghostly figures or hear things going “bump” in the night there? Hardly!
But there are some cities I just never really thought of as being haunted as my first impression. Take for example Portland, Oregon or better yet Honolulu, Hawaii? I can picture white sand beaches, crystal blue water, and juicy pineapples when I think of Hawaii, but a haunted city? It just doesn’t pop into my head as a first thought (or 2nd, 3rd or 4th for that matter).
